Could you blame him though? If you were a cop wouldn't you use every chance you could get to just haul ass, just because you could? In a car that you don't pay to maintain, with gas that you don't pay for..

I know it sounds horrible but in a job where you risk your life for people you don't even know, and deal with the worst scum of the earth, I would want to have fun when I could

But it's just an image thing. People are watching, and how can you be the model image when you do s*** like that and end up being worse off than the person you're trying to get. If you would've seen the trooper, you'd understand....looked like a giant tool

I've applied at a couple LEA's and the only thing I'm interested in is traffic enforcement. If you can't get the person w/o putting yourself or others at risk, that's why there's a radio on your shoulder. Especially on a Friday night, there's definitely someone down the road

Overnight hasn't been so bad. Biggest issue was finding a good 24 hour restaurant.

Had a bottle thrown at me, but someone can't aim.
Saw aftermath of car vs motorcycle.
And damn it's hot/humid.

They liked my work ethic so I got called in to work again tonight, which puts me over 40 hours for this week so I'm wondering how that's gonna work. Overtime would be nice.

They are, that's why I'm curious to see what happens I'm gonna bring it up to a manager just so they're aware that if I work my current schedule for this week I'll go over.
