I am cleaning my place up, making dinner and getting ready for work in the night its my friday! Too bad amongst this I realize my brother is not going to be paying me back the 500$ I lent him 2 years ago to help pay for a part for his 1999 jeep grand Cherokee. I was stupid and now I regret it since I could use that money to buy a new desktop my current laptop is six years old and it seems its on it last breath. My two cents never lend family money unless its medical related I gave my brother a whole paycheck (I was a cart pusher) so he can fix his car so he can get to work to support his family. Now when I need the money back he finds excuses on why he cant and he even said at the end of summer he'll pay me back bs.... I've pulled the lame family trifecta everyone in my family- Stepmom, Dad, Older Sister and Older Brother has come to me for money and I'm not a rich man I work at wa(( Mart.... My family sucks lol

I always lend my family money when they need it if I have it at the time. Difference is, I don't expect them to pay it back. FFS they are family. If they pay me back when they get on their feet, excellent...if they don't c'est la vie. I certainly don't b***h about it. Especially not to strangers over the net.
Someday you will learn to appreciate what you have. Family is the only thing that will be there in the end. Do you think any of us strangers will be there when you are on your death bed? Your family will be the only ones that will really give 2 f**ks when you pass away. Think about that a little. It's only money and you can't take it with you when you go.
Maybe I am reading it wrong. I certainly don't know the whole situation, but all I see is that your brother needed help and came to you in a time of desperation. It's been 2 years either let it go or sue him if the $500 that important to you.

Nice kudos, I guess it does sound a bit bitchy, but my brother has been on his feet a few times, the more I progress into this website the more comfy i feel being open about you guys. My family is the kind of family where theres not much communication and when there is its mainly because someone needs money or help. I live by myself, work a full time gig and at times I struggle I worry a lot sometimes but I do try to talk to my family they are kinda disjointed. My family I love them because flesh n blood are the most important human beings you have but... when my own family when I need help I get a tough luck you can try donating plasma again (I did that several times as emergency money, I do not get government assistance). I am kinda in the middle and I just feel bummed out that instead of helping me out the same way I did for my bro hes going to vegas, buying 300$ worth of alcohol for a 3 day party or helping my cousin pay off his 2009 chrysler 300 C it sucks I even said payments are fine I could use the money for a new computer, insurance, rainy day money, shots, parts for my car and whatever. Yeah if that's where he's spending it, don't expect it back and don't lend it out again if it's obviously not being used in a positive manner, just my 2 cents.
Brother owes me $50, which isn't a big deal. I just moreso have a problem with his laziness to even deposit a couple checks he has, screw the $50 he owes me, at least GET your money.
