Okay so I have a 96 Honda civic ex and it's lowered on raceland ultimoes which are rated at a maximum 4 inch drop... And my coilovers are totally maxed outt so I guess I'm lowered 4 inches lol. My fenders are already rolled and now I'm just trying to find the right wheels size and offset that will fit on my current set up. I really like the look of the STR502s, problem is they only come in 15x8 +15 offset. I don't know if 15s are big enough. I have also been looking into konig rollers 16x7.5 +35 offset, but I'm afraid with such a high offset the tires will rub against the frame when I'm making turns. Please help me lol.

I run a 15x7 +40 offset and my car is dumped on function and form type 2. The lowest offset im willing to run would be a +35 but they didnt have that offset for the wheels I liked. Imo 15 inch wheels are perfect but if you want to run 16 they fit nicely also but your tires will cost more. My buddy has the same car as me and runs some str wheels, im not sure if the are 15 or 16 but the offset is somewhere in the range of 0 to +20, anyways his rear quarter panels are all munched up from the rim lip hitting it because of his stupid offset

^^^sounds like your buddy has no idea on how to make wheels clear the body and suspension.

OP, do you even know what offset is? If you take offense to that because you "know it" then you should be able to answer your own questions by using math.

sounds like you like to bash people for no apparent reason, you dont know the whole story so lets not assume s**t. he bought the car the way it sits and has not had money to change the wheels out yet

Why do I need to tell a whole story that really is not relevant, all that is relevant is my wheels fit and his do not

even if he bought it that way, he could correct the issue by making them fit. My 15x8 +25 wheels with 205/50's didn't "fit" without modification that I took the time to do. I had no need to just go out and by new wheels...and clearly you haven't been around all these years to see that I don't waste my time just trying to "bash" people.

But since you think I do, what's the logic behind "The lowest offset im willing to run would be a +35" when you can have a wheel with a different width that would require a higher or lower offset to give you the same centerpoint as you would have with a 15x7 that you mentioned? On top of that, all spoke designs aren't the same, and that alone can warrant NEEDING a lower offset than +35 for proper brake clearance.

Im not one of these stance kiddies , I do my research on what fits right without modification, I dont need poke or flush fitment with all this negative camber like everyone else. You have your preference on wheels and I have mine, im done with this thread no need to cloud it up anymore than it is

You came on here for help but just seems like you have an attitude right from the start cause you didn't get your answer right away. You seem like you know what you want. If you do your own research like you said then why ask what fits.
