Finally back
Long day yesterday
Got to see that F50 today though on the way home, so much want
Have to see if it's a bearing going bad on the car again, and then order some tires as well
Then diagnose that Civic too

Yeah.. It's not at all as busy as it used to be. This topic has come up quite a few times and it's pretty much the decline of forums in general.

It doesn't help that the forum has become like a clique of friends in high school, nobody wants to be the new kid..

Yeah.. We can be a rough crowd. Everyone here was that new kid at one time. Just stick around, don't get discouraged, and stay active. Most here are only active in off topic or build threads anyways.

Some forums have declined, you're right, but this one seems done. No Anfrey or any of the OG's. A lot of dead forum topics. It's sad. I used to enjoy this forum a lot.

This is exactly it. Forums unfortunately are a dying breed. People move on, its a part of life.

People get their information and move on. Social media had changed the way things work. Medias constantly change. Look at dvd and cd. They are becoming quickly obsolete in this new digital age. When those last groups of people finally let go and move to the future that is digital and streaming, they will phase out.

I can see forums ultimately becoming information dumps/archives and store fronts. As much as I hate to say it.

I plan on sticking around. I'll be honest though, if not for tapatalk giving me readily available access to the forum, I would hardly ever be on, just because I'm always on the go. I know a few here that will likely "go down with the ship".

Ditto. We arent the only ones. There is 1 person on pc to every ten that are on through tapatalk. Pc browsers are becoming the minority. Its like that on most forums now. Mobility brother.

Even when I'm on my phone I still use regular desktop view, hate Tapatalk as when I used it it never worked correctly and I haven't looked back since.

Almost seems forums might come back, a little but not like they used to. I'm constantly seeing dumbasses post in the pages on FB just asking questions that are usually met with "search/google" and at least they'll see the links if not join. But whether they stick around afterwards is another issue.

The MA auto forum I belonged to shut down last year because it slowly died. Even HT is dying compared to a couple years ago; they just have a much larger crowd so the difference isn't as noticeable.

It might have been from Skype since we talked on there a lot before we met. Dunno.

I'm shopping for a friend, not myself. I am however considering selling the MDX but only to save money for the wedding. I absolutely don't want to get rid of it b/c finding something car payment free is a civic again and I don't want to "sacrifice" the luxury I've had now. Yes I know I'm a brat.

I think the only thing I don't like about mine is the fuel consumption. I get about 17mpg but it's only b/c I'm in stop and go traffic 5 days a week. Once we move my mileage will improve b/c I'll be in a lower traffic area.

It definitely gets up and goes. It runs a 14.7 at the track - I was shocked for a full size SUV and 10 years old.
The traction control is awesome and a lot of fun when it's turned off.
I've got the Touring edition so I have every dealer upgrade except for the RES.
The heated leather is AMAZING. The fuses for the heaters go bad often, not the coils as people think. It's an easy fix.
My generation was plagued with transmission issues, but primarily from 01-03 (1st half of my gen). 04-06 had issues but there was a recall. Luckily mine (04) was not affected.

These cars last forever. Mine has zero issues. I added auxiliary and tinted the windows the entire way around. The back was factory tinted but I wanted darker.
I'll be wrapping the wood grain in vinyl but that's it.
The factory 8 speaker BOSE system is surprisingly clear and nice. It's cool that Acura installed over head speakers including a sub and tweeters.


.......I honestly could go on and on about this car - it's the best car I've ever had. We've had the dogs in the back, us up front, and the very back of the car loaded with car parts and a tool chest and still had plenty of room.
