Engine swap or sell?

So I've been trying to sell my 04 EX with no luck. She needs some love, now I originally wanted to build a 6gen but I already have a 7th gen. So do u guys think it's worth it to swap engines with a K20Z1 or should I just sell it and do the B16B build in a 6th gen? I found online COMPLETE swap kit for $4099.00 and it has EVERYTHING. Is it worth it?

Well of course I wouldn't be buying the first thing I saw and that's another thing u should have asked.... If that was high priced. Double that 4 grand,so 8 grand? or should it be around 2 grand to do? I found a used engine for $1800 and trans for $800
Also wasn't sure if it was worth it to just get the kit or buy used stuff to put rebuild and put together. I want the engine to be mostly stock in the end.

That's not a damn swap "kit" for one. 2. That's not the engine you'd get that is pictured, they stole the image from Hmotors (who have incredibly clean swaps) 3. Hmotors actually sells that complete changeover for less than the link you listed 4.You don't need a K20z1 complete changeover because you have a 7th gen civic that isn't an ep3, so there would be several pieces that you do not need as well as others that you do need. 5. It doesn't cost about double to do a K series swap, it's not 2002 anymore. 6. Based off of the info you currently know, i'd suggest selling your car and doing a slow b16b swap, unless you decide to buckle down and read about doing a K swap into a 7th gen civic first. 8. Because i don't like odd numbers so I added the 8th.

Thank you for the information, where can I find the correct info on the k swap like u said? I enjoy learning new things so I'd like to read up on it but don't just want to google it and get bad info

Lol. We come up on google....everyone does. What gives you the impression that this site is the end all be all compared to the others that come up? Just a thought.
