The first tint ticket I got was because I flashed a Porsche about a speed trap, probably the only time I've ever done it too.
Didn't see FHP following the guy, and he whipped around to come and get me. But since flashing for speed traps was in the courts at the time, he got me for tint instead on girlfriend at the times Integra.

Then the second one, I got pulled over at 2 or 3 am under suspicion of DUI for weaving around sewer caps.
Was just leaving work, no one on road, had a hot pizza next to me, yet they think I'm drunk. Ended up having the K9 come out, another couple cruisers, then decided to go for tint once they realized I had nothing else going against me.
That s**t pisses me off. If you pass the breathalyzer, you're not drunk. f**king cops lol.

I had to go through a sobriety test once. I had a few drinks, and the cop saw me leaving the bar, so I wasn't going to lie when he asked if I drank anything. Pulled me over for *gasp* my window tint. Of course, my dumbass picked up some :biz: just before heading to the bar, so the car smelled of it once I rolled down my window. Didn't b/s with him when he said he could smell it, so I just gave it to him. He asked to search, and since I had nothing else to hide, I figured why not, anything to act less suspicious.

So 45 f***ing minutes later, after being put in cuffs and hanging out in the back of a cruiser for a bit, three cops tore my car apart, finding nothing, so they let me go. IF I passed the field test. I must have passed the actual test with flying colors, because he didn't breathalyze me. In NYS, anything .05+ is illegal, and I was probably past that. Lucky that they didn't give me the breath test, just 4 tickets, and let me go. No citation for the :biz:, which he dumped out on the road and smooshed into the ground. The tickets were for tint, no front plate, address on license wrong, address on registration wrong. I had moved from the ex's place like 2 weeks before, go figure. Either way, I got them all dismissed

With that being said, my housemate was pulled over twice for drunk driving. Neither time he had a drop to drink, nor was he swerving for anything. He's just a s***ty driver.

Dayum

Yeah I've had the car searched for drugs once (thanks to pyscho ex before this last pyscho ex) and they put the owners toolbox on my glasses messing them up.

Then another was a full-on dog search when trying to get on base and I'm surprised his nails didn't scratch my bumper when digging in the trunk.
Depending who was at the gates when I went on, some would get rather pissed seeing a full bird decal with an 18-23yo kid behind the wheel

As for residence, I've gotten away with just telling them I just recently moved (10-day rule in FL) :what:
Come to think of it, still haven't changed my address from Tallahassee to Miami

prepping my new intake manifold for paint. I haven't decided on color yet, but I'm a little more inclined towards yellow.

Haha, damn! I would have been pissed if a dog were jumping around my car. I can juts picture vertical scratches going down my door panels.

And I did, but was still past the date. So I did what anyone would do -- just told the judge I moved back in with the crazy ex. I didn't actually, but it was enough to make my license and reg address on point again, so the judge dropped those two. Once dropped, I just changed my address on all my docs for real.

What color is your car / engine bay? Black will never fail, yellow on the other hand, depends on what the rest of the car looks like.

Speaking of Mexicans,

sketchy Impala with license plate reader parked outside my window last week. Then last night, 3 police cruisers were sitting outside my window... I live in a small apartment complex with mostly old people. The exception to the old people is the building I live in, which consists of a crazy woman with a yelpy dog, an Indian kid in grad school, two lesbians, a Mexican family, and myself.

Was thinking the Impala was an undercover. The car looks like it, but she sure doesn't:

Anywho, the Mexican woman in our complex used to be on probation for something, but no longer is as of a few months ago. If we're all headlights, they're the padiddle of the group, because I once caught them smoking weed in the laundry room. The ONE common room in the building, lol. They weren't even doing laundry, so it just smelled like straight up reefer.

Been behind cars before where that's all I could smell. Way to fly under the radar, stupid.

Could be, the PO's I knew never had the tag readers though.
Never really saw that until getting up to DC & NYC, not common down here yet

no I am not mexican. what does a yellow or black intake manifod have to do with mexican?
He's referring to the horrible color combo of the red/yellow.
It's what we consider rice as it was in the early 2000's with everyone painting random engine parts all sorts of wacked out colors instead of just letting it be.

IMO, I'd leave it silver as there's nothing wrong with it.
If it had to be painted, I'd suggest black as the red/yellow is a little McDonald's-ish let alone those are just two colors that should not go together. But to each their own, it's your car. Try some Photoshop if can, or that's a 15 minute job away with me if you can't find it via images.google.com search

Will never do it again, probably.
Too much work to get stuff aligned & shaded correctly.

Just another number higher, that's all (IMO)
Oh hush. You'll get wastey.
Plenty of other things to do than drink yourself sick. Like get laid. That's usually fun.
