:hi:

I sold my 92 gsr hatchie a week ago to a buddy that owns a local shop and is turning it into the shop car. I am finally able to talk about it without crying. I got what I wanted for it plus shop credit. I had that car for exactly 10 years to the day, in my name. Still have my 93 and 96 hatchies chilling in the garage for the winter.

I've also upgraded the mommy car to a 2011 Kia Soul Sport which I've had for two weeks and I love it. I haven't had a car payment since 2001. The hubby is using my 97 malibu as his daily now.

Me and the demon spawn are making strufoli, cream cheese cookies, fudge and praline crunch squares for our neighbors as Christmas gifts, tonight.
Awww! 10 years to the day is pretty damn impressive though. 10 years ago I was just starting to learn how to drive... my dad would take me to the cemetery and let me drive on their oddly wide roads. (I was 15).

Put a killer SSD in my laptop tonight. I keep restarting the computer because I can't believe how fast it boots up now.

Speaking of fast, I put the same SSD in my buddies gaming computer today and it is now the fastest computer I have ever been on. It only has an i5 in it but he has it overclocked to make it around a low to mid level i7 so it isn't tip top of the line, but it's fast as s***. It's like a normal computer on a truckload of redbull.:lol: You barely let the mouse button all the way out after clicking on a program and it's already up. If you restart it, from the click of the restart button to being able to it up and running again is around 8 seconds.
I love my SSD. My work laptop has one, and boots Win 8 on a Dual Core in ~25 seconds. My personal laptop has a normal HDD and higher i5 with Windows 8.1, yet takes over a minute to boot, and another 30 seconds to get all the services running once I'm logged in.

Whoo did we have fun tonight at the meet. I don't even know where to begin.
Between the 'pop that pussy' references, betting on the servers age (I won), me inadvertently calling her ugly, d**k jokes, etc. Still feeling it a little
Speaking of d**k jokes, just fixed a guys computer in our Shanghai office this morning, is name was Fang Wang

We have a slightly growing shipping department here, so we have two guys in receiving now. One we all joke and call him the head receiver  He is okay with that title.

played cs go the whole day instead of fixing my civic.. hahaha damn rainy weather making me lazy and stuff
I know the feeling. Took me two weeks to fix a headlight last winter because well... winter.

[MENTION=74087]Had a beer that literally tasted like candy tonight. Shock top raspberry wheat. WAY too sweet for me. But kind of cool. I'll stick to liquor :P
That was my ex's favorite beer. Go out and get a real beer! Try Magic Hat #9. It's not too hoppy but has a lot of flavor.

Congrats man! What does that entail exactly? Giving them gifts and such?

Can't beat free lol. I always go to the grocery store here. If anyone has ever heard of or has been to a Wegmans, it's the greatest grocery store on Earth. Dropped off my perscription, they gave me one of those things that buzzes and flashes when it's ready. I did my shopping, and finished up just as the buzzer went off. :thumbs up

Heading over to the girl who I am trying to get out of the friend-zone's place later. Still an uphill battle. She's going to LA (across the entire country) to visit some guy she used to have a fling with. Lameeeee!

Yeah. Buy the family gifts and a Christmas dinner then our family will deliver it to them.

Got really sick of my kids and kids in general not appreciating jack s**t, so we r giving Christmas to a family that wouldnt get one because of financial problems and such.

Should be really cool.

That's awesome man. Props for that!

I'm taking part of Reddits Secret Santa this year. I need to ship something to some dude in New Orleans. All I know is that he loves math and is a Public Defender. :what:

Gonna get him a math-based tie, me thinks.

Yeah i hope it turns out ok. Tried to get the kids into it last night as we were putting up the tree. The little girl of the family we are adopting has one pair of shoes that is falling apart. So i asked my daughter how many pairs of shoes she has. She was like, " i dunno. 20?" So i tried to make her realize how good they have it. Shes pretty young and the older one gets it but i think he realizes that its taking away from his presents. Which is just fine by me...

Damn man. I can totally respect that. My father used to make our family participate in something similar. They had a toy drive through the fire department (his work) and we would go shopping and each pick out a toy for a family, we would get a post card with information on each of them. It was fun and it showed me as a kid that there were people out there less fortunate and that I needed to be thankful for even receiving anything.

This reminds me, my sisters three kids (ages 8,7, and 6) live with my parents. My sister is out of prison now but she doesn't make much of an effort to do anything with them. My mom has early onset Alzheimer's and can't hardly deal with the kids like she should be able to. My father is retired but still works floor covering jobs on the side. They're each 56 and 57 years old. The kids aren't being raised up properly simply because my parents are too tired or distracted to really stay on them. My fiancé and I help out when we can though.

Anyways, I got pissed the f**k off the other day. It was the boy's 6th birthday and I got him a new jacket, a movie, some socks, and some more nerf pellets for the nerf guns I got them for Christmas last year.

This f**king kid had the nerve to look at me and say "this jacket looks stupid, I don't want a movie, I want a video game, and what am I supposed to do with socks?"

I. Went. Off.

Maaaaaaaannnnnnn I went off. My fiancé doesn't want to get him anything for Christmas but I don't think that will do much since everyone else is still going to get him christmas.

I haven't gotten that upset with any of the kids in their lives. They met a whole new side of uncle Nick

Yeah, I read an article about an assistant teacher stealing a five year olds iPad and iPhone. WHAT IS A FIVE YEAR OLD DOING WITH ALMOST A GRAND IN ELECTRONICS?!

My best memories as a kid were wholesome family gatherings, one on one time with my father, and life lessons.

Not the game boy I got in fifth grade. I'm glad that I was raised to know what's really important in life.

When I was a kid, and even to this day, when someone got me a ridiculous present, I reacted the same way that I would if it was exactly what I wanted. If someone goes out of their way to buy you a GIFT, you appreciate that fact. Regardless of how you feel about what you got. I had an aunt get me a cutting board when I was in like 4th grade. I had no use for a cutting board, but she almost had tears in her eyes when I opened, and I knew that they didn't have much money, and she had recently lost her husband to cancer. I cried like a f**king baby and told her it was the best I had ever received.

Those are the moments to remember.

By the grace of God man.. I'm just lucky to have been raised up right.

Is it odd that I almost want to have kids just to raise them right and be an example for other families?

Idk. I would think twice about having kids these days. I already feel bad enough for my kids and even kids in school right now...

Definitely. As of right now, neither Jess or I want to have kids, ever. I'm just saying that I can't deny at least wanting to make a difference in today's youth. I understand that I don't have to have kids of my own in order to do that though.
