Just decided to come back and pay a visit. Been a Mod on Honda-Tech for 2 years and distanced myself from CC because of thin skinned Admins back in 09

Fully built B20 P8R with 11.2 compression, cams, 3" exhaust, etc..

Nice torque.

I wish crane would advertise their Honda cams duration @ 1mm instead of .050 inches. These aren't SBCs were dealing with here.

Thx.. it does get down and boogie

I raced an ITR 2 weeks ago and he barely beat me from a 40 roll. I had 3/4th tank of gas and windows open. But for a non vtec engine to keep up with honda's best bseries.. I think I did pretty good considering I have my fingerprints on the internals.

Before anyone asks..

That is winwindshield sun screen I DIYd. On the data log it showed at coming in at 2-3 degrees over ambiant.

Helps with heat soak too. I took off the green tape and replaced it with real metal duct tape.

I figured if it can cool down a car, and intake pipe should be no problem.

I also wrapped my battery to help from the heat.

I like the heatsoak prevention idea. Been considering some stuff myself...might just go race car style for mine though. Good stuff here :thumbs up

I remember doing something similar on my 92 sedan (got rid of the CAI after almost hydrolocking my engine, though)

I've had plans of doing a b20 swap on my 99 Civic. What ECU did you use for that? I'm guessing the one from a manual CRV or late year OBD2 Integra would work just fine?

No.. I think if my fuEl was 1/4 tank and with my low end torque I could get him from a dig.
