need some help with obd port for live data

hey,

i'm doing i little project to install a tablet in the car.
my main goal was to have live data obout the engine & sensors.
i just realized that mine 99 civic sadan have a p2p-b11 ecu but
because it's a euro model or some other reason i have only an 3pin dlc connector.
for the scan tool i must have a 16pin connector as far as i know.

my question is, if it's a p2p ecu (that supost to be a obd2)
can i somehow connect the scanner directly to the ecu or if there is any other way to get live data to the tablet?

You can buy an obd2 Bluetooth adapter on ebay and plug it into the scanner plug, then get torque pro for your android and you should be set

I wish it could be that easy, my model has only a 3pin dlc connector
I'm not sure that the scantool can read it. (with 3pin to 16pin cable)
