The section you incorrectly posted in has writes ups on putting a quick release in. If not exactly what you are looking for, google will definitely point you to another one. This is a common modification.

Keep in mind you are eliminating you entire SRS system. Losing the factory steering wheel airbag cancels out the rest of the airbags in the car (if applicable) and you will have a SRS light constantly on in your cluster.
