Not with a d-series there isn't. You are going to need a LOT more than simple cheap bolt ons to gain power with that commuter. There is a reason people swap to bigger motors, or put turbos on.

Unfortunately the cold hard truth is that you just changed the sound, absolutely no discernible power was added. Especially not one that is just sucking in all that hot air from on top of the motor.

It's good that you want to wrench on your car :thumbs up, but don't fool yourself into thinking cheap bolt ons are going to do anything in the way of good power to the wheels just because it says so on the box.

I agree. You typically don't gain much with intakes, but you do get a better sound, and it helps a little when you start doing some mods. From what I've learned in school at least
