B16b info

Hey guys wondering if someone could point me in the direction of a decent b16b build on stock bottom end. Have been searching for days now, and everything I'm finding is pointing towards replacing bottom end internals with jdm b18cr parts to start getting any decent power. I'd much rather keep the bottom end as is if I can find the right information. Other forums have said the ctr piston head is actually quite a poor design. Where is the truth in all this it's frustrating me. Help

Just keep it as it is and slap a turbo on it

Do you even know what a B16b is? This isn't a turd b16a we are talking about.
you talking to me? yes i know what a b16b is, i dont know how different it is from the b16a2 besides the power output but i wouldnt want to swap internals on a stock b16b type r motor. that motor is good for 300+hp with a turbo on it, why waste money on swaping internals or heads for a very minimal increase in hp? keep it stock or put a turbo on it!!

anybody internally building a B16B is going to up the compression and bore it out to at least be a 1.8 if not 1.9l block. The vast majority of people are NOT going to build up a B16B engine because if they wanted a built B series vtec, they'd start with an LS or B20 block and go from there, ditching pretty much everything that makes a CTR engine what it is.

Which is basically a destroked B18c5.
