There are many parts you will need, but this has been covered several times. Many members simply wont reply to topics that have been answered multiple times in the past. I suggest you search through our site along with Honda-Tech.com & D-series.org. You'll find a lot of information between the 3, including multiple tranny options. It'll come down to what you want out of your build and what parts you can find locally or which ever methods you chose to find parts.

Here's a general idea to get you started.
- manual pedals
- manual brake booster
- manual ECU
- manual tranny: I think any D-series will fit
- proper shift linkage (consider the integra dual-bend shifter arm)
- shift boot & bracket
- manual gauge cluster
- some added wiring may be needed

thanks. this information helps me a lot.. i went to a junk yard today. and they had a 96 hatch back civic all manual with d series engine and trany. they told me exactly the parts that you listed. and they gave me a deal. 550$ for everything the trany with the shift linkage and the manual ECU, trany mounts, pedals and axles. they also told me that they will give me a 30 day warranty on the parts which is awesome cause that way i can really test the trany.
im getting my money straight this friday to get all the parts to start this project.
thank you guys a lot.
oh! and do you know a link or some where that i can get a workshop manual for 96-00 civic. i work very well with picture diagrams.

Buy the Factory service manaul, nothing better and more complete than having an actual book to refer to!
