Looking into 6th gen manual civics either sedan or coupe. Don't really know much about the differences in b series engines but I'm extremely interested

If you need to ask which B series motor is "best" you'll probably want to research what goes into a Honda engine swap first unless you intend to have a shop perform the labor.

No problem! FWIW, B18B motors are some of the best for boost. No Vtec, but already low compression and make decent power without needing to upgrade the internals. They hold boost well!
