Lol you think roads here in MN are any better? during winter water, snow and ice get in the cracks of the road and make potholes bigger and worse. Road conditions are bad just about everywhere, you just gotta know how to drive and what roads to avoid. I daliy this car at that height and I've only broke one exhaust (completely my fault, on the highway). My headers scrape a lot I ain't gonna lie lol.
I guess if you ain't about the low life, then there is really no purpose to go any lower. The height you are at looks fine in your eyes, then leave it like that.

You can ask anyone and they'll all tell you Los Angeles has the worst streets ever, it's not that I'm not about the lowlife I like being low but I always like to go fast, yes you can go fast while being low bit you can't do it comfortable on these roads because yes you can remember the road but you can't predict when there's going to be a new pot hole bump or what ever it is and here there are so many freeways how can you remember everything, being low is cool and all but like o said I don't like tucking the tires like you have them but that's just me I like wide and flushed look you know what I mean, but I'll take into consideration what you said and I might lower the back a tad.

Thanks dude but I'm not really in to tucking the tires, and I live in LA so being this low is already hard I couldn't imagine if I sent lower since it's my dd

at least you guys have way better/smoother roads then NY and i see the whole slammed/stance community out here driving around in the boroughs and they all DD it there is a big ass deep ditch at the end of my block on one side and the other side there a bit of a dip lol my friends 240sx scraps turning on to my block lol ny is notorious to having the worst roads out of majority of the states

but some poeple just don't like their cars scraping i don't mind it as long as its not my oil pan lol

You can't claim to be "about that low life" if you aren't low..
But on a different note you can memorize what streets are good, which ones are not, and which ones you gotta avoid at all costs. I'm not saying you can predict roads, but you just have to drive careful enough. Plus you don't really break anything from scraping going under 40 mph.. it'll scratch your undercarriage and such, but won't break anything as long as you are decent at driving a low car. Going 60+mph down the highway and hitting a small but tall bump is a different story (which is how my exhaust broke).
A lot of people don't understand why someone (like me) would lower the car so low as to having a hard time daily driving around. But I never understood the people who claim to drive fast and agressive on a little 1.6-2.0L Honda that makes less than 200HP. Unless you are making good power (300+HP) any new ish car and any V8 truck/suv would smoke you.. so why think of your car as a track car? People make fun of those Hondas that are too low, but what about those Hondas that think they are fast? lol I guess to each his own.

I'm saying that if your car isn't fast, there is no reason to lie to yourself and think it's fast. The other routes iare making it either cosmetically good looking, or very well maintained (like bushings and such).

I'm looking at B series engines and the numbers of HP don't go over 200, so in mathematical terms there is no way you could beat a 300 HP car (unless they suck at launching, their car was full of people, worn out engine, etc).
Go back and read all my comments, I never claimed to be fast therefore I lowered my car as much as I wanted to. I don't lie to myself about how fast my car is, so I don't go on the internet claiming I beat V8s when I really don't. That's all I was saying, no point in talking crap to each other since we have different mindsets of what we want out of our cars. True car enthusiasts should be able to understand and like everything there is about a car, not hate on each other because of different views.

well its not as bad if your tires aren't stretch at all. but if its stretched its gonna look really funk no matter how you put it. stretch tires are done for people that wanted to be really low and not rub and not have to camber the wheels alot because the wheels have that big "poke" better off utilizing 205 or 225 width tires on 8" wide rims 195 are usually good for 7"wide tires, also quick fun facts tire stretching was done over in europe because back in around year 2000 europe actually didn't have low profile tires. we did. something to think about instead of bickering lol

My tires are stretched a bit I have 195/45/15 on a 8" wide wheel and I think it looks great

also rubbing is only from running to high of a profile(sidewall) size 45 mean its 45% of the width of the tire

don't get me wrong it looks good cause my friend has 195/45/15 on his 15x10 kurger wheels(really rare euro wheels)

but on a side note he was slammed even lower then me and i'm almost close to 5speedej6 ride height. snug pinky gap in the fronts and teh rear is tucked but you should know the rear wheel wells are not cut as high as the front fenders
