My car keeps misfiring in cylinder 1 I've replaced all the plugs wires cap roter and distributer and it still throws code 71 and dies then won't start for about 20 minutes. I have no idea what else it could be. What are you thoughts

I assume you have a Civic LX. Please confirm your model year & trim. Always make sure to include that in your first post. Im also adding "misfire" to your title so those browsing know something about your issue.

What brand of parts have you used? Hondas can be very finicky about parts, so please list the brand of each part you purchased.

I think it's a dx but other than that I don't know. I bought ngk spark plugs and the cap and roter are master pro ignition components and the distributer is cardone and plug wires are drive works

It could be your main relay? These tend to be a popular problem for our cars and lots of Hondas around this year.

Put OEM wires in and find an OEM distributor. These don't run well with cheap parts, especially not cheap ignition parts.

To the one above, main relay won't throw a misfire code from what I have seen.

Could be the fuel injector, try swapping them around. For example, cylinder 1 with cylinder 3 - see if the problem follows.

I'm not familiar with any of those after market brands (doesn't mean they're no good) but OEM Honda cap/rotor are not expensive. For the distributor, you can probably find a used one at a junk yard if you doubt the "cardone" - try and find one with the least amount of miles.

Perform a compression test on all four cylinders.

The main relay was what caused it to Durand I fixed that it just took some time to find it lol on my last Honda it was way up in the dash on the driver side and this one was behind the glove box

Find some used OEM ones. D series injectors are cheap as phuck.

Again, try the junk/salvage yards or eBay.
