I think my car has a d series engine and was wondering if anyone knew if a 1.6 or any bigger cc engines head would fit on my car with no/minimal work? Looking for a bolt on and go jobby but don't want to get the head if it doesn't fit

No.
You'll have to swap motors if you want more displacement.

For the turbo route people have said that it's fine and original internals will be alright unless your going over 200 bhp

Everything depends on the amount of horsepower you want your car to have. Let's start there.

Like I said - it depends how much YOU want your engine to make. If I recall, the highest horsepower d series is around 800hp. Obviously, that's not stock internals, but everything is dependent on what YOU want to accomplish. LOL

Haha don't plan on going that crazy I'll probably go for about 150 at the most can't afford forged pistons and everything will probably end up getting a new car instead of putting loads of money into my £250 civic lol

If you're going for 150, I wouldn't even waste the money to turbo, let alone anything other than exhaust and intake. LOL

He has a 1.4. Those things have less than 100hp stock. Not going to get anywhere near 150hp with exhaust and intake.

Here's the advice I give everyone... what's your budget? A turbo setup, done properly, will cost you upwards of $3000, including a tune. A tune, is THE most important part of the whole system, so never cheap out on it.

Well for a start I live in the UK so probably won't go there and I was going for a budget build really just a bit of fun, it will be my first time turboing I just want my car to have a bit of power as apposed to nothing lol

We have all been there. Unfortunately, there is no budget power on a d series let alone a 1.4. Only way to get any noticeable power out of it is forced induction (turbo, supercharger), fully building internals, or NO2. None are cheap and easy.
