Why does my Civic look different?

I'm new to this whole Civic scene and although I know a little about them...I don't know as much as an "enthusiast". I belong to a fb group for 8th gen Civics and a member there has the same car as me...year make model and trim level...so why is his bumper design different and and his mirrors placed different then mine...I have pics

Mine is the silver one...his is the white one both have sunroofs...only difference might be his is coupe and mines sedan?
