Help! My seatbelt has gone limp! They say this happens to a lot of guys, but . . . I just don't know what to do! Seriously, though, my seatbelt doesn't retract all the way. At first, it just wouldn't go all the way back in when I took it off, which was annoying, but now it doesn't tighten against my body when I'm wearing it, which is obviously a safety issue. How do I make my seatbelt tight again?

My only suggestion is to pull it all the way out, and then allow it to retract (if it will). It may be in some sort of car/booster seat mode. More than likely, though, it sounds like it needs replacing. Soon.

Yes...if u go to the dealer ur gonna pay a grip. You might as well buy some sparco or takata 4 point harness seatbelts...the 5 point is a lil too much for me...wouldnt wanna ride the crotch on a sudden brake.

but yeah after market belts like those are nice....just make sure u dont get no crappy APC or immitation belts.

Honda has a lifetime warranty on the seatbelts. Go to the dealer. spend the time to let them inspect it, then they will schedule a service time (few days later) to replace. the belts. All in all, you'll be without a car for 2 days. No money paid to the dealer.

I know from personal experience. I had my drivers belt and passenger rear belt replaces in my old EJ.
