car won't start up when to running temp

:hi: Is your CEL on? Any modifications? I would also check the IACV. Pull that off and give it a good cleaning.

    Harv's slow eh9 build

YESSS I'M NOT ALONE!!! R3dline I did this once. Actually was setting timing and forgot to tighten the lugs down. Was merging onto the highway when the tire popped off at 30. It's no fun. Watching your tire skip across 4 lanes of traffic and fly into a swamp is pretty entertaining though.

What are you doing / did you do today / CHAT THREAD

:thumbs up I give you props for this. You're right, not many would own up to their actions. You made a mistake, it happens, but you didn't hurt anyone else or yourself so that's what's most important.

What are you doing / did you do today / CHAT THREAD

Exactly. I lost a friend to drinking and driving. After a party he went and got McDonalds, and was about a mile from his house when he rolled his SUV into one of those larger industrial light poles. I was at that party last night, and one of the last people to ever speak with him. Harv, don't...

    The Relationship Thread

I know. I definitely wasn't expecting those messages last night. She was the one who left me and then went out and got engaged. I knew something was up since she'd been texting me more often the past two weeks. The last thing I want to do is mess with her mind, granted she did to mine for...

    The Relationship Thread

Exactly why I don't think it's going to happen anymore. At first I figured she was moving away so f**k it (literally), but then after last night that's a clear reminder of the type of crazy I don't want in my life.

    The Relationship Thread

So I've been talking to the ex from time to time.. just casual chat. Last night she got drunk and I had 15+ messages on my phone about how she still loves me, misses me, f**ked up, blah blah blah. She called me, I accidentally picked up (was tapping at my phones screen when she called and I...

    Best exhaust/muffler/etc.

It would work. If you need to pass emissions, you will fail though, and you may get a CEL. There is no catalytic convertor with that system.

Ticking noise? Also sounds like the axle popped out of the tranny.

    Repair Estimates

This would be my advice. ^ Like Cary said, they're a dime a dozen. With who knows how much it costs to fix all that, it's probably cheaper to bring the car to a junkyard, get a couple hundred bucks for it (or pounds) and put that towards a new one.

If you still have issues, I'd test the t-stat. Drop it into some boiling water and ensure that it opens / closes. :thumbs up

2004 Civic EX Coupe Overheating and have tried all I know to do.

:welcome: That sucks about the drunk driving incident, but glad you're ok! I'd definitely bleed the system, as if it hasn't been done you probably do have air in the lines. To get the air out: - Park the car facing uphill. If you don't have a hill, jack it up very slightly. People say a flat...

P0304 Code, CEL for 2002 Honda Civic EX

lethal6 Cary, it looks like Op posted and then edited. This won't change title of thread still, just the post. I've updated the thread title. Op, have you pulled the spark plug in cylinder 4 to check the condition of it? I'd start there. When's the last time you replaced the plug wires?
