I actually disagree in terms of performance. Tubing is just tubing. A 2" aluminum tube from AEM runs a couple hundred bucks, yet a 2" aluminum tube from a knockoff company costs much cheaper. Just get a good air filter. Fitment is another story.

It could be many things honestly. Check your motor mounts, check the CV joints and look for rips in the boots or grease leaking around the joints. It could also be a worn /bad axle.

When it was stolen, was the ignition popped? Wondering if you have an issue with that or even the starter. Is the CEL lit?

Get some aftermarket struts that are made for lowered applications. Especially if you're trying to slam it, those struts won't last long. On the bright side, when (not if) they blow, you'll sit a little lower.. :lol:

Yeah, the '99 sounds like a better option to me as well. A clean low mile 6th gen is hard to come by!

According to the dash cam he was going 35. I most certainly have gone through many intersections at that speed. I don't really expect a car involved in a car chase to come out of nowhere, either.
