Hi there clubcivic, 200STM here to show off and present my civic which is my first car. I got it for $1,700 cash, its a 1992 LX. I got it from a guy who was doing a car wash, he was also selling a 97 hatchback (wanted more for that one). Initially he wanted $2,000 but I talked him down to $1,700 with payments (I'm surprised he let me take it home with $300 down as a deal locker). I got it paid off and the title done. I have started working on it (just doing basic fluids). The car is in solid shape bodywise, power windows, mirrors, ac works cold and starts well. I have found two problems it has oil in the spark plugs and its leaking oil. The car has 334,000 miles and is running on a rebuilt engine from what the owner has said. I have bought orings and the valve cover ready to put in to solve the spark plug issue. I put some pictures of where the oil leak might be, I'm new to working on cars and have my tool set on its way to start wrenching on my civic. I look forward to getting some pointers and tips n tricks from you guys here. Shes going to be my daily driver and I have given her the name "Sirrachi", I want to focus on getting her a clean stock look and want to focus on getting the most mpg out of her. I do appreciate the help here, see you guys around and yes its spray painted red the original color was frosted white and even my friends said the spray paint job is amazing work someone took time on it.

Welcome.

The spray job doesn't look awful from afar, just around the edges in the doors, etc. And where it's sprayed over the door locks. I'd be curious why the service connector is hanging out.

Engine looks mostly clean. Oil looks like it's probably from the valve cover or the distributor seal.

:welcome: to ClubCivic!

I moved your thread to the members rides' section since there's not really any tech question here. Also, I fixed your images so they all show up right on this thread.

:thumbs up
