00Si vs. 02 Eclipse gt

who do you guys think would win in a race?
i've talked to many ppl and they said the Si will take the GT. But imo...the gt would smoke the Si, wit same mods i/h/e but 200hp vs. 160hp come on!
Anyone know what a eclipse gt runs in the 1/4?

I would think the SI would win... weight has a lot to do in this kind of situation too. The GT has a lot more torque, so off the line, the eclipse would be winning. But the SI should pull pretty quickly. I have had friends that test drove some GT's and said they weren't that fast at all

yeah, heavy ass things, I think the si would start pulling ahead or at least catch up in 3rd gear

There is no way that they can get all those times accurate to the tenth of a second. Different drivers, different conditions. I think that they are all estimated by taking in account the weight, hp, torque and all that.

That site sucks 15.9 are you kidding me, The mod here ran a 15.6 with a complete stock 00 si.The si will win.

i agree, the 1/4 time are calculated and not real 1/4 mile test.

Dude I beat a Eclipse GT at the track and my car was completly stock except for 17x7 rims and Kumho Exsta Supra 712
