Most of the times are averaged, and a lot come from car magazines...so yes they are accurate, besides the numbers are only what expect...its not like the same divers going to run the same time every time...but your right it is the diver. I.E. I raced my friends 91 accord (stock 5sp), against my 86 crx si (stock 5spd) and lost 4 out of the 5 times (his a way better driver than me), and the stats say I should beat him.ocbasbalburg said:There is no way that they can get all those times accurate to the tenth of a second. Different drivers, different conditions. I think that they are all estimated by taking in account the weight, hp, torque and all that.
Do you not understand taht the stats are wrong, how come daniel the mod ran a 15.6 bone stock he must be lieing huhBeelzebubba said:Car-Stats.com Report for 2000 Honda Civic SI

stats Motor Trend Eclipse GT Spyder:

Note: Hardtop Eclipse would be faster than the Spyder
he said they are acurate to some sense, but they are only what is expected... which, i think, means by what the car should run based on hp, torque, weight... obviously they are wrong, but take two or the same cars and run them both, you won't get the same exact time, i guarentee it.baby99si said:Do you not understand taht the stats are wrong, how come daniel the mod ran a 15.6 bone stock he must be lieing huh
It is all about the driver there is not set 1/4 mile for any car.
There is a variance between not only drivers but different cars off the same assembly line.baby99si said:Do you not understand taht the stats are wrong, how come daniel the mod ran a 15.6 bone stock he must be lieing huh
