it just strikes me as interesting to the fact that everyone and their brother wants oem honda wheels like the si/ls mesh/blades/fat fives ect and are telling me that my equips are too small.....maybe im missing something

It probbaly has something to do with the design of the Equips. The lip especially. It makes the wheel look smaller to me for some reason.
