2012, Honda Civic Coupe LX
Plugged my iPhone into the USB port. Found out that the USB cable had a shorted wire. Now my rear speakers will not work.
I can use the fade and hear the front speakers with no problem. I use the balance and both my rear speakers are really really quiet.
Also, I know the problem occurred with the USB cable because I plugged same phone with broke cable in my 2015 Honda Civic and it killed the rear speakers also. I didn't know it was the cable at the time I put it in my second car...
Anyway, I think it may be a fuse or something. Both my cars are LX models and I don't think it has any fancy amplifiers.
Anyone ever heard of such?
Thanks Tom.
