IMO 16's biggest for hatchbacks, 17's for coupes. for 18's it would probs look best with a bodykit, otherwise they might stand out too much. i think Arospeed/KEI racing does sizes like 18x7 and 19x7 for civics, might be worth a look.

dont go any wider than 7" if you get 18s. I have 17x7.5 on my car right now with no rub but anything bigger would rub

I went shopping today and I really like the AXIS SEVEN MOD 18 X 7.5 with a 42 offset. The guy at the shop claims that they won't rub at all. I might go for it.

I just want a full look....I'm going crazy over here. I live in Fort Lauderdale, Florida so the road are pretty flat and smooth

To answer your question, yes 18s WILL fit and they will fit with no problems, that is if you run 18x7 or 18x7.5s. Any bigger and they will rub. And you can also run 19s with no cutting. My buddy did it for the longest time with his Civic until he sold it. It only would rub at full turn....here are some pics of my car on 18s....

Of course I have air, but even with my skunk 2 coilovers I still ran the 18s no problems.

18's are way to big on a civic. I have had 18's, then 17" Racing Harts and then 16" SSR Comptetitions and now 16" Works. Honestyly with the right drop 16's look perfect. You can pull 17's off with a Front lip that hangs lower, like the Spoon or Mugen but thats about it. Unless your into the body kit thing.

My Car on 17's:

and then the SSR's.. which i just sold a week ago:

Well guys, I bought the 18 inch Axis Mods last week Friday and on Monday and Laundry truck driver in Miami slammed into the back of the car at 45MPH, so it's pretty much totaled. I want to post pics, but I can't figure it out......Now, I'm looking for a 2000 Civic SI, that hasn't been modified, so if you know one please let me know or where to start looking. It's crazy, that was my second day on the rims...
