Yes and my 96 SiR came with ABS which also you don't have in USDM but we do not have the cruise control

ABS was an option for the other trims, but not Si. cruise control is standard on HX, EX, Si i believe (usdm) and an option on the others. i want to see a pic of this exterior leather tho!!

^^ :rolf:.

Yeah our little economy car's aren't exactly a comfy and quiet SUV or BMW. But your window really could be sitting at an angle. When you shut your window, hop outside and take a look around the edges where the rubber meets the window. Make sure you can't see the edges of the glass or that any rubber is disfigured and letting air creep in. If you do see that the glass isn't sitting properly, you most likely have a bent regulator (it's what the bottom of the glass sits on as it's pushed up) or your track could be bent too possibly...?

I know for a fact my regulator in my driver side is bent so it causes the upper left corner of the glass to not fully seal against the rubber. I can literally put something between the edge of the glass and the rubber. That's how far off it sits. So I have to push on my glass to the left as I roll it up and it seals properly and I don't hear the wind noise anymore.
yeah i got that window problem in my rear right passenger side, always gotta hold the window in a way so u can actually bring it down, it shifts side to side like crazy.....especially in the winter:x

I had the same problem with my previous car 98 LXi and after a lot of testing i found out that noise was coming from the exterior leather protection of window frame ...as the car gets older the leather loses its flexability and become hard and slightly leaves a gap between the glass and we you reach 60 mph or 100 km/h you start hearing the noise.
He's from another country. I'm thinking he might mean "rubber" or something though.

Leather is the material that comes from the hide of cows. Some of the things that are made of leather are jackets, furniture and car seats.

97-00 EX 5 speed coupes didnt have ABS, not even as an option. Only automatic civics.

Back to topic, my car has the same wind noise, and i think it is because of the side mirrors.

Honda Wind Noise / Water Leak

Wind noise was coming from passenger side on my Honda Civic 2010. Water was entering in just above door in heavy rain. This helped me locate where wind noise was from. I went to Home Depot and bought foam weather stripping. It was the flat kind, approx. 7/8" X 1/8". I stuck it all around the passenger side door jamb, that is: on the car not, not on the door. I started from the bottom/front of the front door jamb to the bottom/rear of the rear door jamb. I positioned the weather stripping so it hits directly upon the factory weather stripping around the doors.

Notes:
1. Before applying the weather stripping I cleaned the painted surface inside the door jamb.
2. Position the weather stripping so it hits right up against the factory weather stripping on the doors.
3. At first the new weather striping will not stick very well, but after it is held in place for a few hours by the doors it becomes well adhered to the car.

Results: Perfect. No more noise or water leak.
