Thanks guys. I was able to sell the rims today. I was talking to friend and we were discussing the possibility of picking up an engine over my spring break. We'll see what happens...

Me too. Was that just done on AutoCAD or do you use something else?

I'm a big fan of 3D CAD programs, those are a lot of fun.
Hi Reed, Yes i did that in AutoCAD. Nice man. I also do 3D

Hey bud! Did you hear about your motor for the swap?
Sorry I haven't been on much lately. I'm getting killed this semester with homework haha. I barely have time to sleep.

Over spring break, I don't know if you guys remember, I had two job interviews. The first was for an engineering internship and the second was just general labor at a moving company in town. The engineering firm has yet to get back to me, but I doubt I will get that position as I'm vastly under-qualified as a freshmen. I walked in to the moving companies office wearing a shirt and tie and looking really nice and they basically just said when can you start. I accepted the moving company's offer for now. If I hear back from the engineering firm, I'll probably work there, but if not, I at least have a solid summer position lined up. I'll get 10.50 an hour guaranteed 35 hours a week and time and half for overtime and holidays. Considering last summer I worked for 7.85 an hour, 20 hours a week, and no time and a half for anything, I thinks its a pretty good step up haha.

As far as the car goes, I wasn't able to get anything done over spring break. I have enough for a swap saved up,but I'm waiting to get a little extra cash before i buy the swap. I'll probably get it the first week I'm home for summer, which is only 7 weeks away.

Good to hear! stay focused in school and have fun later. Physics seems like a class and a half along with my 9 credits. I bet you are itching to get a break for sleep and a good day at your car. Good luck man!

Yes sir! No messing around this summer, I'm getting stuff done. I'll probably ship a bunch of stuff to you for powder coat the first week I'm home.

Thanks man! Yeah I'm in Physics right now and that class is a lot of work haha easily 6-8 hours of homework a week. What are you majoring in?

Both lol, Congrats on your new job!
Thanks man! I wish I had more time to mess around in CAD. I have access to a 3D printer here at school so I'm anxious to get some simple models printed out. Once I get my computer's SD card slot working...

3D printing is an amazing thing. At my old job we use to do Stereolithography (SLA [ a photo-curing process, where a laser creates an object from a liquid resin] ) prototyping. We also had another machine that made parts in color from powder. The SLA machine only made parts in a clear appearance. Go for it man, if you can print your models do because its a good feeling holding the part in your hand at the end.
