All I am going to say is Got Traction knows his shi*, if you don't listen to him your a fool....

Look at his cars, his builds, his knowledge of boost... Out of everyone on this site and other sites for boost he is on my top list and he is honest....

Do it right the first time!

Yeah, he does know, but not everyone wants to put that much into a car that isn't evem driven that much, to be honest, I prolly won't even have this car by the time summer rolls around...

I might though!

So your just throwing money into a car you won't have and won't get your money back on.... Nice, what a waste....

Not being a jerk dude but you really need to figure your sh*t out ...

Nooo sir.

The car is reconstructed, therefore it is by bluebook, "worthless" as some people told me when I tried to sell it..

So I'm painting it, and just givimg it an extra 80-90hp through a whistle with a FRESH engine..

Ill be able to get 4500 out of it..

THIS.......

Man were not trying to bust your ba**s here but to be blunt your wasting your money....

Your going to half a** job on a salvaged car just to pawn it off on someone and maybe make 1-200 bucks or lose money?

There is NO way you would be able to build a good car, with boost, and a new paint job for less than AT least 3500-4000.... Unless you half a** it... So I am going to assume Maaco bad paint job, pieced together turbo kit which can go good or bad....

Got Traction your GREAT! (even tho i want cp vs Vitara)

but to the 16 year old. do what u want. anyone has there own thing. just alot of people start and want more and come out losing. i think it would be kool the have a clean rebulit stock motor.

just really looking into everything before u make a move. as for anyone, let him learn like we all did........

not really sure how this turned into a thread about me :what: haha

Anyway..OP - the reason why i said piston/rod it is because your already going to be more money into it than i think you expect. Right now you have a block that may or may not even be usable. If it is usable and you want to boost on it, your already going to need pistons and rings...so why not buy aftermarket pistons/rods that will allow you to make more power down the road? No reason to build a motor now, then next year rebuild it again..

..this is why people are telling you to save your money and do it right the first time. Turboing a car and having it last is more expensive than people usually budget for.

Fast, Reliable, Cheap..... you can only pick two ;)

...ohhhh myyy, I worked at a very reputable shop here in wv, and I'm sure he will give me a break.

But either way, has no one heard of a stock b16 turbo?

I mean.. it happens a lot guys...

Been thinking it over, and I honestly might keep the car for awhile, but this doesn't change ALL of my plans for the build.
I understand it will be more reliable and have more power if I build it, I still haven't even fully decided what I'm gonna do, don't flame as an idiot because I asked questions. I have not bought anything else for this build otherr than the block. So my thoughts might change.

Thanks for not being a dueche, I know about motors and I know this isn't the best way to go, so I'm still thinking it over and looking at prices,

What no one seems to understand is IT IS NOT SET IN STONE!

If my cylnder walls are the slightest bit messed up ill be boring it .20 over or buying a b18 bottom end...
