Automatic Transmission

First and foremost, thanks in advance to any tips or info anyone can provide. My sisters got a civic as stated above. Her car, after it sits overnight, about half the time when she starts it stalls. She will pull out of the driveway, and within about 10 seconds of accelerating, her car stutters a little bit, RPM’s drop to 0, even if she revs it tach doesn’t move. She said after a few seconds of this, it will start working again. Any idea’s on what this can be? she said its starting to do it more and more. Ive tried searching forums and the web, but nothing ive read is relative to whats goin on here. Thanks again

Any CEL?

When's the last time the car had the spark plugs / wires / distributor cap & rotor checked or replaced?

it doesnt thow any CEL, no dash lights come on when it happens. the plugs were done 12,000 miles ago by a shop, it had individual coils, not sure when those were changed. its weird. at first she made it sound like trans was slipping, but she said the tach drops to zero, even when she revs, and says the motor doest get louder, so its not the trans. im stumped to be honest with ya. i thought about spark plugs too, but if that was the case, why would it only do it at super low speads rights after car is started? she said it never does it after the initial startup. like she can drive it all day, in town/interstates and never does it, only when it sits all day/night
