so uhh wheel techniques said over the phone it was $150 to powdercoat my wheels. i went there and dropped them off and they were sitting on the shop floor, went to get the paperwork done and it was $600.... $150/wheel /faceplam.

so as i was packing up my wheels back in the trunk one of the workers said he'd do it on the side for me. I offered him $200 to do all 4. He said he'll get them done by Saturday.

Yeah its a little overpriced at $600, my boy got two sets powdercoated @ $80 A SET over at some local shop over here.

yeah, dont go to a tuner shop for that s**t. look for an industrial powdercoater in the yellowppages or something. it will be a lot cheaper.

worked on the truck a bit this week

washed and interior detail on monday

today i

replaced my throttle position sensor ($30, CEL has been on since feb, feel like a dumbass for not doing it sooner)
checked the rear diff fluid level and to see if there was any water in it (got stuck in a creek last weekend)

took off the camper shell (my raft is wider than the truck and it wont fit in there blown up) ... forgot how nice it looks without

the walmart shift knob that came with it kept falling off, so i remembered i had a "civic type r" replica in my box of "honda stuff" in the attic ... so with some tightening of the allen bolts on that went too
