7th gen 02 si hatch limp mode

I have a 2002 honda hatch si ep3 with a k20 and a little part of the engine harness is burned by the valve cover on passenger side it has codes p1298 electrical load, p1259 vtec malfunction, p1167 air fuel ratio, p300 miss fire, p0301 miss #1, p0303 miss #3, and p1456 evap control system, will this burn cause all these codes and cause limp mode and only go 40 mph and a bad gas smell

Fix the harness. Yes a burn harness will throw codes. Your vehicle is in limp mode BECAUSE of all the codes.

Don't drive it between now and when you fix it, unless you want to make things worse and / or catch your car on fire.

if you drive it your car will be ruined. based on what you have said I would have a shop fix a problem like this, big money but someone capable of that task would not have asked.. good luck

why would you still be driving a car that has a burnt up harness?
