Post a picture. One possibility is a leak from the coolant temperature switch for the radiator fan.

I believe it is the coolant temp switch (thermo switch). It should have a 2 pin connector.

Stop guessing. Crawl under the car to pinpoint the source of the leak. Take clear pictures of the source and post them. This is the only way you can get meaningful answers to your questions.

you better hope it's not from your head gasket. did you make sure to take out any air bubbles when you changed your fluid?

It's difficult for me to orient exactly where on the engine the picture is taken. Is the leak coming from behind the lower timing belt cover? If so, the water pump is likely the culprit.

I am pretty sure your water pump is leaking from the bleed hole. You need to remove the crankshaft pulley and the lower timing belt cover to replace it.

so i have to replace the whole water pump? whenever i cover the hole it stops leaking. should i just find a way to plug it up?

You must replace the water pump. Covering the hole stops coolant from flowing out of the bleed hole but does not stop the water pump from leaking.

The water pump is almost surely leaking. You can buy an OEM water pump for $45 online from Majestic Honda. This does not include shipping and handling charges. Call the Honda dealer and auto parts stores for price comparisons.

It's a moderately difficult job. Click here.

For 92-00 Civics, you need a special hex tool to hold the crankshaft pulley steady while you break the evil crank bolt loose. I think the hex tool is also needed for 88-91 Civics, but I am not absolutely sure.
