yes it took a lot of time.... good thing I have a second car (G35). I was able to learn how to soder and re-do some re-wiring. I was also able to do the fog light connection for my JDM foglights.

The pass. side is going to be tuff but I'll keep you guys posted when I start doing it.

Why is the throttle cable all looped around the motor.

the passenger side is actually pretty simple. what i did is go to the junyard and cut the passenger side headlight harness off of another civic just like mine, taking as much wire as possible, then i went to my car, removed the fuse box to get it out of the way and exposing a hole thru the frame into the fender well, then i took my stock harness and cut it up close to where the wires come out of the chassis harness, getting rid of all the headlight clips and such, then I fed the wires thru the fender well. Then I took the harness I got from the JY, matched up all the colors to my stock harness and then soldered it up. Put the fuse box back in place and it was done. I apologize if any of that is confusing. Just trying to help.

just cut a harness would make the pass side really easy thats true just aslong as you get good harness connectors keep up the good work keep us posted

Thanks guys.... I was thinking of just cutting the pass. side wire harness and extending it. about the fuse box, I was thinking of tucking underneath the dash. I've seen a tuck thread where the fuse box was tucked underneath the dash. I would like to relocate the battery, but it seems useless if the battery is behind the front bumper. And I really don't want to relocate it to the rear of the car. I really have to think where exactly I'll be relocating it.

I'll look into it and dedicate a weekend just for the passenger side. I really got picky on how to rewire the driver side wire harness. I really didn't want it to look half ass. It really felt good once I finished tucking the wires. I really didn't think i was going to be able to do it.

The throttle cable actually came like that when I bought a front clip. My friend actually installed the motor the way it was on the EG6.

thats EXACTLY what i was thinking...

even if thats the only thing you did it would clean up the bay a lot.
