yeah budget sucks but eventually you'll come up with something. Maybe you can get a hook up on tires? If you can, get rims alone and get the tires from your hookup.

Sorry man. I don't have the time to make 700 posts a month.

But I'm sure once I've invested that much time on this board, I'll be cool like you.8)

I've got hookup on just about everything EXCEPT rims and tires. No worries though.... all will come. I have a lot of work ahead of me, starting with getting the body fixed...

For rims, go Rota. Nice looking, cheap, and quality. Best bang for the buck.

You need to do a suspension set-up before you get into the stunnah mode. And if your idea of suspension is for lowering for looks, then I suggest you don;t worry about a swap and just get a BOV exhaust whistle and slap some altezza's on and call it a day :P

IMHO, cosmetics come last. Cosmetics generally DONT break/have problems, and add attention to your car, whereas performance upgrades do break, have problems, are expensive, and don't add attention to your car. (Unless youre running a POS fart cannon like a tenabe (sp) or apc)

Meaning do the expensive stuff first or don't do it at all. I mean your eIther going to be a sleeper or ricer.

My 2 cents

Does the coupe bumper fit? I tried one from an si hatch, and it wouldn't fit for anything!

Well, I'm a firm believer that it is possible to make the car fast, and look good. Too many of the really FAST cars I see out at the track are just crap looking.... front bumpers removed, primer splashed (although I can't talk...) and just look bad.

My intention at this point is rims, and lowering (shocks, camber, etc.... not just gonna cut my springs, that's ghetto...), and save up for my swap.

I know it's easy to talk about doing the expensive stuff first, but I got kids, and an ex wife, and bills.... and unlike half the folks I've spoken with online and at In-n-Out, I'm doing this on my own, no "yeah, my dad got me this nice VAFC and my mom bought me rims for Christmas..." for me.

Dang it.8)

I hear you man. Well atleast you're older (read as more mature) and you realize what it takes monetarily and responsibility wise to fix up a car. I didn't have a concept on money until I lost my car....

Like I said and you agreed with... rims and suspension first. It really does kill two birds with one stone -- looks and performance.
