96-00 airvent with pocket

Alright, I think i may have it...
I was sitting in my car on the phone, and i started staring at that area, and come to find out, I think the pocket's outline is already there. If you look at the two buttons, they are inside of a rounded-rectangular shape, and I think that is exactly the size of the pocket... The shape is like ~3-4"x 1.5-2" or something like that.. Im gonna get one or two tomorrow at the junkyard and go to work with my soldering iron.. I think i may already know how to make it work too...
I think I feel a DIY coming on..

huh? I know its one piece.. but Im going to have to piece it together in order to make it work.. I was stating that the outline I think is the size of the pocket, not that the pocket and the trim are 2 seperate pieces that can come apart..

What I am trying to say is that I only have the bezel with the buttons and not a pocket. You have the one with the pocket. I am going to have to piece together a pocket for MY bezel, while yours comes in one piece. When its all said and done, my vent bezel or whatever will be in one piece as well..

...Update: I was scouring the junkyard the other day and i stumbled upon a pocket that is approximately the right size for hole that it needs to go into. Its the coin pocket from a 96ish Geo Prizm. With my dremel and soldering iron, Ive begun making it and I can already tell its not going to be pretty, but its going to be functional, so we'll just have to see ..
