96-00 broken hood release fix

I just kept pliers in my car. It wasn't like I opened my hood every day so that fix cost me $0.00

I tried getting one from OP a long time ago.. I ended up going to Home Depot and finding a knob. cost me 4 bucks and attaches just like the pics ^^^
