So, according to that H-T thread, the door tweeters came optional on the sedans, too.

Wow...you learn something new everyday.

Ive never seen a non-Si coupe w/door tweeters, tho. :what: Not saying your wrong, its just Ive never seen them, myself.
I know I'm not wrong. :P

So far I've never seen an EX coupe without them. I even checked Jason's cousin's new EX coupe the other day when it was here. His has tweeters too.

Yes, though they looked different in the US market. US market sedan tweeters were in the door panel itself, not behind the mirrors. Overseas there are some which went in the same place as the coupe tweeters, but they're difficult to get a hold of.

Maybe I'll snap photos tomorrow. Or post a screenshot (anyone should be able to find them listed online under an earlier model EX coupe ACCESSORIES - ELECTRICAL).

Where are the tweeters are in the door panels on the sedans? Are they in the same place as the 7th Gen sedans? Right infront of the doorhandle?

Not sure if they allow hotlinking, but here:

But the person I was responding to wasn't...

The ones in my EX coupes have both been the ones that are behind the mirrors. The ones you're talking about.

Sedan ones look like the photo I showed above. There are sedan ones that go behind the mirrors, but they're overseas only and hard to find.

will the behind the mirror tweeters fit in a sedan though? your previous statement made it sound like the only ones that would fit are from overseas.

Okay, I'll repeat it.

USDM OEM tweeters for coupes and hatches fit behind the mirrors (in that triangular spot).

USDM OEM tweeters for sedans fit in the door panel (next to the handle, like the photo I posted earlier).

SOME OVERSEAS OEM tweeters for sedans fit behind the mirrors (in that triangular spot). I've only seen one set of them. They're hard to get a hold of them and I don't know off hand what market they're from. So don't hold your breath trying to find them.

Coupes and hatches can use ALL the same door components (interior panels, glass, regulators, tweeters, skin, etc). Sedans are different though. Sedans cannot usually use parts from coupe and hatch doors. Some parts from coupes and sedans can be made to fit sedans, but they won't fit perfectly and will need to be "modified" (broken, glued, trimmed, etc).
