You're going to need the entire trim piece on the dash.

YOU DON'T NEED ANY TRIM PIECE!!!

You don't need any trim piece for the clock, just pull out the pocket and the clock screws in from the back, I just installed one like an hour ago.

I still don't have mine, but it'll be shipping only. I'm shipping my cubby to my friend in Erope and he's sending his clock to me. We only pay the shipping for the item we're receiving.

He has a car show soon though and doesn't want a hole in his dash during the show. Understandable.
