I didnt do the swap myself but i talked to the guy i baught the car from and he said overall its not that hard, but he had a wiring harness custom made through the stock one from one of his friends that knows alot about the electrical systems. I swapped over my wheels for now and it looks alot better, but they're still going.
The car needs ALOT of TLC, theres some HORRID vibration when turning left and acceling (around 3000rpm) , but not right... which is weird. Then going straight theres ALOT of vibration around 3500rpm at WOT. Im thinking the axles are fubard? Either too long, too short, something. Does anybody else with the H swap have any ideas on this? Also, the shifter is most likely a double bend (i havent really looked into ANY of the problems yet, no time) and i cant get into 2nd, 4th, or reverse with the center console bolted up properly. Is this an easy fix? I'm assuming it is.
Dropped? The cars as low as I'll take it, i cant even get a jack under it! (it was a task, ill tell ya that) so any lower makes i unpractical, especially for winters here in colorado. The suspension isnt really what id call 'great' but it rides nice and is very stable (even with the h22). KYB struts with Ground Control Coilovers (silver body, red springs).
Im currently looking at a set of black housings for it, and these ion housings are going. Does anybody want 2 sets of Euro Dezigns 6000k H.I.D Xenon/Krypton yellow bulbs? Im not into the whole yellow bulb fad thing. So that needs to go.
rey_boricua, yes i am in colorado, Brighton to be specific. Yep, the car has a Clifford alarm with remote start , which is nice. But now i need to get out of the habbit of leaving it in gear all the time and what not.
Thanks for all of the comments, keep them comming! Sorry if i missed anybodys questions/replys
