For f**ks sake guys. I'm getting new headlights, a bumper, and starting on the body work. Saving for paint over school. Christ.
Calm down man. We just are trying to help

LS. Valve train is just worn out. Clearances are all within spec. Not sure what it could be right now without taking it apart. I was supposed to get a head last weekend, but the dude flaked. Is this ls/vtec or just LS?
If it has vtec then I would suspect the tapping to be lost motion assembly.. mine in my B16 hear were shot and made so much noise similar to valve lash.

Good idea. Only thing about checking it when hot is I'll need a new gasket unless I wait for the way old one to cool and contact. I just put a brand new OEM one on three weeks ago.Maybe check your lash hot vs cold.
Also it could be carbon build up if specs are all good

Yeah like $12. I cab get em like $8 through work.Whats a gasket like $10?
No I returned it because I didn't think it was a faulty sensor since I could reproduce the issue consistently. And alright, I will.
True. I will change it after I start working. I don't have any money. In getting five quarts of oil for free so I'll change it when I change my oilBad sensors can be consistent
