it may make less power but torque is what hondas about...the B18B1 makes 128 pound feet.....the B16Aonly makes 112.....to me the B18 will walk the B16 all day. DOHC VTEC means nuthin to that...once again a non Vtec motor will outwiegh Vtec motor. hell the DOHC ZC will walk a B16 if in the right car....my bros 91 hatch has a ZC...walks B16 all day on a stock motor and full interior..
