b18c1 would def. be cheaper but wouldn't be as fast...

acually a B18C1 engine goes for about $3500(from my shop) and thats without installation, an H22A4 goes for about $2400 with tranny, ECU, ect., but the thing is, that an H22A4 is very heavy compared to the B18C1, so the front end will seep down juss a little more than before, i suggest pretty much buying a B18B1 or if your have the money a B20/VTEC, thats a B20 engine from a JDM CRV, mated with a GSR head and your choice on transmissions..pretty much these things are very expensive, do as much research as you can on what you want, and dont get burned the first time buying an engine.. :D

just to give you and idea i swapped a my stock motor for a b16a sir II motor and converted it to stick and it cost me $4200.00. so like everyone else said plan on spending alot of money. to go a little cheaper and possibly just as fast you could put a b20 motor in there. they are very fast. also you can keep the greddy evo exhaust on there. I have an apexi exhaust and i was able to keep mine. good luck
