!

99 si
.Drag turbo kit
.Walbro 255 FP
.Rc 550 saturated inj.
.Skunk Stage 1 cams
.Apexi N1 Exhaust
.OBD2-OBD1conversion
.Hondata S200B
.P72 Ecu
.Skunk Short shifter
.Act XTSS clutch

My question is this I still have the car running on the stock ecu basically just bolted on the turbo.

I installed the Walbro255 since its the easiest thing to do. Would that eliminate me useing the Inline fuel pump or woud I have to still use?

I also hooked up the P72 and the hondata to see if it would work and the car would rev from 1000-1500 back and fourth and i would give it gas and it wouldnt go over 3000 rpms why is that?

I Know the car needs to be tuned but would it be better taken it the shop stock or everything on cause they charge by the hour?

Any help from anyone please :???:

The fact that your intercooler blocks the radiator is one of the problems for turbo cars in the summer. FAL fans are your friend.

As far as injectors go, what boost are you running? A rule of thumb I go by is that you can always use less than the flow rate of your injectors, but you can never use more. If your having thoughts of going bigger, then def. go bigger. I have 660cc RC's and have had no complaints.

$300 for clips/injectors is a very good price...good enough to look into the brand more before you buy...

Very Tru the intercooler does block the radiator what would u recommend to have more air being pushed threw also Ive decided to go with some 55rc injectors for $240 bucks

Well I have also decided to go with UBERDATA P28ecu

Now as far as BOOST/TURBO TIMER CONTROLLERS
whats a nice setup theres soo many out there wouldnt know where to start

Looking at the Greddy evc-1 controller looks awesome and wonder if its good for the money

turbo timers are worthless, just make sure you warm your car up before you drive, and before you shut it off let it idel for 30 seconds.

Profec B is good, that is what I have.

I'm going to assume you meant to type 550cc rc's, not 55 :haha: And make sure that deal includes the injector clips because your stock ones wont work

Uberdata can suck my nuts

i could sell you a turbo timer ;) um one way to get around that overheating problem, tap into the fan power line and connect it to a switch, this way you can run the fan at all times.

The fan is already hooked up to a switch. Dosent overheat while i drive but when it sits there for a few minutes after driveing it gets up to about 3/4 the way up.

What kinda turbo timer u got and how much u want 4 it

I also just bought some GSR cams for cheap would the GSR cams be better then the skunk stage1 cams for a drag kit in the SI

go w/ apex auto timer, i luv mine. it should be around $80 and it also displays a/f ratio, O2 sensor voltage and battery voltage. sometimes it'll take longer than 30 seconds to run all that hot oil throught the turbo so i would recomend getting one to prolong the turbos life

make sure u get a toggle switch to wire into your fan so its not on all the time. if my engine is not warm enough the turbo doesnt spool up right (it could be the thicker oil too . . . i'm not sure). but my switch works really good when i need to cool it down (i also have the FAL fan)

Yeah the apex turbo timer is nice really small and ez to hide.
Ive got the fan hooked up good but the fan is a stock fan on a bigger radiator. Maybe i need a fan that blows more air threw?

so u have the integra sized radiator w/ just one stock civic fan? the FAL fans work real nice, maybe u should get the one to match that radiator size

yeah sounds good i should get a fal fan to keep more air flowing threw

It wasnt overheating before and it really isnt overheating that much but since the turbo was put on I think its blocking alot more air flow threw the car

^^ i dont think running the fan at all times is necessary, just make it so it comes on at a lower temp. And again, imo I dont think a turbo timer is necesary.

The only thing bad with crome is that their is no boost cut. I think someone is working on a code for it though...

the fan doesnt come on at all times anyway. theres a switch that turns that on and off automatically thats built into the radiator, the name escapes me right now. and a turbo timer isnt necessary at all. if you have the patience to put a turbo on your car then im sure you would have the patience to sit in your car for 2 extra minutes after you park. it is very convenient though.

Next thing I was supposed to do was tune the car but the guy is lagging on me and not standing by his word s ois there anything I can get that i would be able to do myself like an AEM or HONDATA or is something that i cant tune myself and a shop has to ?

i wouldnt tune yourself if your not familiar with tuning.if you ask me, leave it to the pros, its a very important thing, and not something i would personally feel safe doing. im using hondata s200 w/boost option and 2step, but id go with uberdata over chrome.

a turbo timer is great.im impatient and sittin in my car everytime i drive it isnt always an option nor something i want to do.i have an hks TT.

a bigger fan should help out since you already have a bigger radiator, and the switch is a nice add on.
