A Little Bump In The Road. :-(

so i moved to bloomington, IN from Chicago this weekend. well i took what should have been a shorter route and ended up in a ditch. it was snowing and i was going slow around the turn but somehow i still lost traction. i am riding on kuhmo ecstas which suck in the snow. luckily i got full coverage though so ill be filing a claim tomorrow. my pass door, fender, hood and bumper are damaged. the hood got dented in the corner right by the fender/winshield...the bumper tabs on the side where it bolts up to the fender are broken so its being held on by the grill bolts only.
i stopped at a rest stop and took a pic of it...this was about an hour before the hit.

see the skid marks...nothing else on the turn but i went right for the only sign in the whole area.

hopefully it wont take long to fix....i aint got rental car coverage and eventhough i work for Enterprise it still costs me money which i dont have.

just not the best weekend. i also got my timing belt done on thursday right before moving. well the shop took 10 hrs cause the first time it slipped so they had to take everything apart. the second time...the ac pulley came loose cause it was put it wrong. and last night...my alternator belt loosened up causing my battery to drain and my car to break down on the side of the road. this morning i pushed it to a firestone type shot....107 bucks it cost me to replace the torn belt from it flopping around...to charge the battery and for the labor.

on a good note though. I GOT A TURBO KIT IN THE MAIL. WILL BE PUSHING 8PSI ON A GARRETT T28 SOON!

i know right...u think u want to put the sign ahead of the turn not right in the apex or whatever its called. if someone where to loose traciton...this is the spot where its gonna happen and they put the sign right on the spot where u would prob end up.

well my deductible is only 250...so the insurance will cover it.
i pay 157/month in chicago. but since i am now in bloomington (small little town) even if its goes up after this accident it will prob stil be less than what i was paying in chicago. and i turn 25 in december so itll come back down then. still sucks though.

oh yeah the turbo kit is a garret t28 with a 31x12x3 intercooler. a blitz bov. hf mani. all i need is injectors and tune and ill be ready to go

you shoulda punched it right when you started slidding. you woulda ended up in the ditch but you might have missed the pole. s**t happends. if it makes you feel better i slid into a curb 2 weeks ago. it was the longest 15 mph slide ever..
