if u only knew what my real post count was... it's damn near 30k, since posts in the lounge don't count towards the total....AliasNeo said:yea, thats why i was asking what motor it was coming from,
btw anfrey wtf goes on during ur day, 9725 posts.. talk about a post whore lol
AliasNeo said:yup, as long as it is a D series tranny it will bolt up.
find out wat civic it came from too and let me know, cause if its a EX/Si tranny ur going to notice a decrease in mpg but ur acceleration times will be a little bit better as the gear ratio from those models are shorter then the rest... i dont think too much mpg would be lost but ull notice it holding a little higher in the rpm. doing bout 40 im at 2100 rpm.
silvertuner98 said:90-00 civic trans is what u mean i believe. then u run into cable operation and # of splines on the input shaft
jdmek9r said:ALL Dseries trannies are interchangable. Just remember to keep cable if you have cable and hydraulic if youu have hydraulic. Personally I prefer 96+ EX trannies because all the shift forks have been upgraded to steel instead of aluminum. ALL EX/Si trannies are geared closer thus faster acceleration. 8)

however the steel forks are THIN and tend to warp/bend and eat the gears
the aluminum ones just shattttter and u are stranded
anfrey said:hey d00d this aint anfrey, he dont know all this s**t, he's sittin right here sayin "wtf is a dx tranny, pre-op or post-op"
