uhh rev matching how u do that?

is it like double clutching? cause i know how to do that
It's simple and quite effective(although it may take some time to get used to). I'll try and explain it in the simpliest way I can.

Let's say you are on a one lane strip and you are cruising at 45mph in 5th gear. You've got this rush to floor the car so you quickly >depress clutch>shift to 2nd>dump clutch and all of a sudden your whole car jerks violently. This degree of stress put onto your tranny will result in premature wear/death. To counter that violent jerk, you'll want to rev-match before dumping that clutch. What rev-match does is match engine speed to tranny speed. Again, you feel this thirst for linear acceleration so you quickly > depress clutch > shift to 2nd > with your right foot keep the RPM above 4000 > then release clutch pedal. A smooth transition is what you're looking for. Find an empty parking lot and do some low speed practicing, when you get the hang of it, it'll become second nature. 8)

well...i guess in a way yes since they both try to extend the longevity of your tranny. From my knowledge double clutching was meant for trannies without synchromeshs BUT it also benefits syncro'd trannies. Here are some articles that i googled up.

Double clutching

Rev-Matching/HeelToe
