i moved the ac unit on my 96 civic below next to the cupholders. took me about 2 hours to do and it was fun.
my plan is to mount a block off plate in its place and then later on i will drill holes for guages.
so far everything turned out great. updated pics page 1 at bottom

just starting to take everything out.

got everything in

i was going to go with a h22 but at the last minute i changed my mind to go with a b18c1. engine has been ordered through my buddies shop and after thats in ill spend some money on some nice defi gauges to match my si cluster.
hope you guys likeit. tell me what you guys think

yeah same here i rarely use it. its a good fit. i didnt have to fab anything up at all. i might do a DYI on it since i took quite a few pics. yes, there is a small gap on each side that isnt increadibly noticeable. im thinking of trying to find something that will fit in there but nothing comes to mind.

Defi D-series gauges are the s**t:

Those were taken while they were in my Talon, and like the Si gauge cluster, the DSM gauge cluster is a bright/deep amber. These gauges matched PERFECT, and you'll love them.

And since I did all my gauge lights in amber, I plan on sticking an oil pressure and a fuel pressure gauge in the Rex after I get a pod and an AFPR.

BTW, great job with that project. Looks clean and looks very different.

haha yeah.
everything reached perfectly.all you have to do it pull on them a liitle bit to get an extra inch of room but everyhting was plug and play. ill have new pics up in a couple hours.
i might even have a block off plate in by then but i doubt it.

Damn, that is a pretty cool idea. I would have never thought of that, Although it wouldn't work on my car. Looks good from what I can see.
