Advice buying 1999 civic

not trying to be a smart ass or anything but also if you looked at the interior shot you would have seen that the windows are manual, hence, not an si or ex for sure

also no si cluster! it would surprise me if he swapped it out for a non-si cluster if it was an si!

anyways, if op can get the car for 1.5k, it'd be an ok price to buy. I mean, if you're gonna get a DX why not just find a DX hatchback? A little fixer upper on the hatch and it's resale value will be higher than the DX coupe because, if you're gonna go with a coupe, why not get power options with the EX/Si?

you cant expect me to treat you as a car enthusiast if you dont know the basics. most people who dont learn the small detail differences like that dont stay in the game long so i have less patience for something like that. i knew the differences between 96-98 civics and 99-00 civics within a week of owning my car cause i wanted to know all about them.

offer $1800 no more. i got a 2000 EX 96k miles for $3700 5speed a yr ago. the DX doesnt have power windows or locks and no sunroof. plus whoever owned it was obviously trying to fix it up so gotta check every inch of the car for any problems. goodluck

I dont know much about cars but a dx model with 150k miles aint worth no $3300
i bought a hx all stock with 180k miles for $2800 so i know

I would absolutely not pay that much for that car. I have a 99 civic Si that I bought for $3200. Price is way steep and that looks like a DX, an I right? Id keep looking if I were u.
